Very quiet carpeted space of a decent size.
The Body voice Centre is set in the old Footscray Squash Centre. The Small Studio is the size of one squash court, about 6.4 metres wide and 9.7 metres long. It is a private, carpeted studio with plenty of natural light, a sink and benches along the short wall near the door, an upright piano, a table and some chairs and cushions. Newly installed reverse cycle air conditioning provides good heating and cooling. It has a balcony mezzanine. This studio is a multi-disiplinary space and has various areas for different purposes. It is ideal for smaller gatherings, meetings, classes and rehearsals. The studio kitchen is closed because of COVID-19. Urn and fridge available. BYO cutlery, crockery etc. Two toilets are available. The Body Voice Centre is 100 metres along Wolverhampton Street from Barkly Street, near a bus stop. About 10 minutes walk from Middle Footscray train station and from central Footscray with its many cafes, bars and restaurants.
