Step off Barkly Street's footpath and back in time: large, north facing heritage windows, rendered brick walls and a concrete floor give endless flexibility. With direct street access, a concertina security grille and heritage shop front windows your creative practice can be on display and support retail / gallery or other public-facing activities. The high ceiling with pendant lights suits a single shared workplace or can be arranged into smaller spaces. A shared gender neutral toilet is accessible at the rear of the studio space with other shared spaces (meeting room, kitchen, library / print room, outdoor courtyard and carparking) also available for an extra fee. The entire building has been updated and re-wired to be safe and comfortable. This space is ideally suited to designers (fashion, architecture, animation etc) and artists that require only minimal services / wash-down capacity.

Located in the heart of Footscray city, the space is a 10 minute walk from Footscray Train Station, 5 minutes from Middle Footscray Train Station and easily accessed by bus, the 82 tram and cycling routes.
