The Brockley Auditorium
Space overview
La Trobe Art Institute is a contemporary art centre like no other in regional Victoria.
Our 90-seat auditorium is a unique space to host education, community and business events and seminars. Features include a PC laptop data projector with touch-screen controls, wi-fi (by arrangement), wireless presentation remote, handheld and lapel microphones, DVD player, lectern with microphone and document light, 87 upholstered seats with fold-up desks and 3 accessible front-row seats.
Located in the heart of Bendigo’s arts precinct, we exhibit and interpret the work of contemporary artists. Our premises include an auditorium and two public galleries with adjacent courtyards and common areas devoted to curated exhibitions.

Office hours Mon to Fri: 9 am to 5 pm Sat and Sun: midday to 5 pm Outside standard office hours a casual wage will be added to the standard hire fee.

Train timetables and fares are available at Public Transport Victoria. La Trobe Art Institute is a 15-minute walk from the station via Mitchell and View streets. The nearest bus stop is at the corner of Rowan and View streets. Catch bus 50, 52, 53, 54, 55 or 63 from outside Bendigo Railway Station.
Parking
Off-street (ticketed) car parking is available at the Rosalind Park carpark, behind The Capital. Enter via the roundabout at the intersection of View and Rowan streets. Short-term on-street carparks are available along View, Rowan and Mackenzie streets. These fill up quickly, especially on busy days.
