Space overview
Field Studies gallery, studio, gift shop provides a supportive environment for local and independent artists, musicians, authors and activists. We like things that are a bit edgy and left wing, or involve the environment and social justice issues.
Artists: the wall space is approximately 3.5 metres wide, with a high ceiling, close to shopfront window ( intro price: $120 per month) Makers: cabinet/shelving (intro price: $120 per month) Bands/authors: a table to display books, vinyl, CDs, and other merchandise ($50 per month) There may also be the opportunity to run small workshops, signings, readings or talks.
High Street is a continuation of the main road in Maldon, the gallery is situated next door to Maldon Crystals and the local op shop.
Maldon is located in central Victoria, and has many heritage elements in relation to the goldfields; this is beautiful Dja Dja Wurrung Country.
