Space 227 is a large studio located on Level 2 of Salamanca Arts Centre. Space 227 overlooks Wooby's Lane and has large windows for an abundance of natural light. It also has a small sink, exposed heritage wooden beams, and a combination of plaster and stone walls. Entry is via the stairs from Wooby's Lane or Salamanca Place, or partial lift access from the Arts Centre Courtyard. A shared kitchenette / common area (with sink) is available for the Morrison Studios.
Close to Hobart’s waterfront and a short walk from the city’s central business district, Salamanca Arts Centre hosts various arts spaces including studios and galleries in the historic sandstone warehouses on Salamanca Place.
