Creative Workspace - Flourmill Studios, Newtown
Space overview
You'll be sharing with "Chee Lam Design", a small architecture/interiors studio. The space is light-filled (2 rooflights + 3 windows that overlook the train lines). As we are at the end of the floor, we don't get much foot-traffic past our office so it's reasonably quiet.
As part of the adaptively reused Flourmill, the building has lovely original character. Our ceilings are around 5.8m. Floors are carpeted in the studio, with timber floors in the public corridors. With reference to the plan/layout - the lettable space is the green-coloured section. The plan is only indicative of how you might layout your furniture. There is a small 6p shared meeting table (open-plan), with an online booking system in place.
Located only 5mins from Newtown Train Station, and the buzz of Enmore Road and King Street, we are spoilt for choice with all the food / drink options and amenities around.

* Any small team ( up to 4) that is largely desk-based, would suit the area available.
* Certainly not a prerequisite - but would be nice if our new studio-share is another creative (like a small architecture/ interiors practice, as we have a small trade/ product library that we are happy to share).
* We are pretty chilled and quiet (noise-wise) and would appreciate the same. Preference is to have co-workspace people who understand and are considerate of what it means to share an open plan space with other people.
* Equally take responsibility for keeping the place clean and tidy.
* Be friendly, sociable, considerate and partake of morning teas and cake when birthdays or occasions come along.
