Creative Workspace - Flourmill Studios, Newtown
Space overview
You'll be sharing with "Chee Lam Design", a small architectural/interiors studio, from Dec'12/24 onwards. The space is light-filled (2 rooflights + 3 windows that overlook the train lines). As we are at the end of the floor, we don't get much foot-traffic past our office so it's reasonably quiet.
As part of the adaptively reused Flourmill, the building has lovely original character. Our ceilings are around 5.8m. Floors are carpeted in the studio, with the timber floors in the public corridor. With reference to the plan/layout - the space in question is the green-coloured section.
Located only 5mins from Newtown Train Station, and the buzz of Enmore Road and King Street, we are spoilt for choice with all the food / drink options and facilities around.

Ideally, our new studio-mates will be :
* Another creative practice (another small architecture/interiors practice would be nice as we have a small trade library that we are happy to share - but certainly not a prerequisite),
* We are pretty quiet noise-wise and would appreciate the same. For this reason, preference is to have co-workspace people who understand and are considerate of what it means to share an open plan space with other people.
* Equally take responsibility for keeping the place clean and tidy,
* Be friendly, sociable, considerate and partake of morning teas and cake when birthdays or occasions come along.
