Co-Lab Quarters: Creative Workrooms

Situated on the first floor of our magnificently historic and ornate building, our Creative Workroom is a unique and versatile space for a variety of needs. One half of the room is painted in a deep, vibrant red and features a beautiful golden glass-globe chandelier and plenty of natural light. This space is home to a well-loved upright W.H. Paling & Co Piano (tuning is subject to an additional fee) and has direct external access. Separated by a half wall, the other half is painted in a deep royal blue and features another chandelier and other light fixtures. This space offers a dry bar with access to a small back-of-house area and a utility sink. There are two non-gendered toilet cubicles and an inoperative fireplace. Floorboards in both rooms are covered in a variety of red Persian rugs and feature beautifully moulded ceilings and tactile wallpaper. The space features a variety of light and easy-to-move tables, benches, office chairs and other seats/stools.

Conveniently positioned just off King Street in the vibrant and creative hub of Newtown, our space is a mere 150 meters from Newtown train station. Additionally, ample parking options including 2-hour, 4-hour, and all-day parking are available within a 500-meter radius.
