Situated in the heart of St Kilda, The George Ballroom seamlessly combines historical charm with modern elegance. Built in 1886, this iconic venue features high ceilings, ornate windows, and original Victorian pillars, bathed in natural light. The space boasts a striking ornate mirror above the fireplace, and a soft palette of blue, ivory, and green. Its timeless design, enhanced by Art Deco elements, distressed walls, and chic furnishings, provides the perfect setting for weddings, corporate events, and film or photography. The main ballroom accommodates up to 220 guests for standing events or 150 for seated occasions. With an open floor plan, the space is ideal for both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations.

We cannot have cash or POS on site, all alcohol needs to be pre-purchased on consumption or on an hourly package.

There is paid parking accessible via Fitzroy Street at the Metropol car park underneath Woolworths (open until 11pm), or at the St Kilda Bowls Club (24 hours).
