the aerie is a collaborative and affordable creative co-working space for artists, creatives, start-ups and SMEs in the heart of the inner west. Featuring nine studios, eight dedicated desks, 90sqm photographic studio, high capacity Internet connection standing desk, large communal areas, access to print facilities, kitchen, bathroom, pigeon holes, water cooler and more, this is an inner-city gem. Studios at the aerie range in size from 24sqm - 7sqm and can be rented on a yearly, six-monthly or monthly basis. This includes high-speed Wi-Fi, power, desk storage, meeting desk, print facilities, kitchen and bathroom, tea, coffee, and the chance to work in a rad collaborative space.
Located at the end of Newtown's bustling King Street, and opposite the green glory of Sydney Park, the aerie is just two minutes stroll from St Peters station, and on a busy bus route along Princes Highway. Plus, there's great food, coffee and bars on the doorstep.

the aerie is upstairs from Tortuga Studios, an independent and much-loved artist-run space that is as eclectic as it is famed. Both organisations exist in a space that will one day be razed to the ground: 31 Princes Highway is an old brick factory, with soaring ceilings, timber floors and a NY loft vibe.
