Codename: Spaceship has a number of creative residencies and activity spaces that can be hired out for events, rehearsals, meetings and workshops.
The Activity Room is spacious and soft floored, with a wall of mirrors. Approximate dimensions of the space are 10m x 15m. We don't mind if you spill paint or just spill emotions - this ex-gymnasium has decades of history and still begs for more! Amplified speakers throughout the space are connected to central Bluetooth for an immersive musical or sonic experience that puts you in control. Powerful air conditioning can be utilised, or open the windows and let nature do its work with luxurious cross ventilation. Codename: Spaceship is a blossoming hub of creative and transformational activity, open to students, artists, performers, content creators and entrepreneurs. Some rough edges and wild textures are natural features of this space. Although we make all reasonable efforts to improve the landscape, the building is in a constant state of ephemeral modification. Please organise a visit to the Activity Room to ensure it is suitable for your purposes.
Located across the road from Campsie station, in the huge old gymnasium above local shops.
