Join a community of artists at River Studios – a thriving studio facility and award-winning architectural warehouse conversion in West Melbourne.
The studio is available from January 2025 on a 12-month licence. Attendance at a walkthrough is a prerequisite to applying.
To apply for this studio, you are required to attend one of the following walkthroughs:
- Monday 18th November at 11am
- Tuesday 19th November at 2pm

The 3000sqm building spans over three levels and accommodates a broad range of practises including visual arts, sculpture, photography, making and design. However, due to the open plan of the building, some practices that create fumes such as spray painting are not suitable.
Managed by the Creative Spaces program, River Studios is a thriving studio facility and award-winning architectural warehouse conversion in West Melbourne, nestled on the edge of the Maribyrnong River.
