Surrounded by the Workers Museum Balcony, Solidarity Hall features newly restored heritage 1890s murals. Dimensions: 13m x 11m auditorium with 1.8m x 8m stage Capacity: 177 downstairs theatre style 91 on mezzanine Tech: laser projector, AV equipment (only requirement is a laptop that takes HDML) Power: Floor boxes on stage, and at rear of room. Three phase can be accessed if arranged prior.

Solidarity Hall can be accessed via Lygon street or Victoria street entrances.

From Lygon St entrance, walk past the Information Centre and through the automatic doors into the courtyard, turn right towards the alcove and right again towards the lifts. Take the lifts to Level 1 and follow signs to Solidarity Hall.

From Victoria St entrance, walk up the steps into the main corridor with murals. You can either climb the bluestone steps on your left and turn left through the doors towards the Solidarity Statement mural and turn right to Solidarity Hall, or continue through the loading bay and take the lift on the other side to level 1, following signs to Solidarity Hall.

Victorian Trades Hall Council is located on the corner of Victoria and Lygon Streets, 600m from Melbourne Central Station or 700m from Parliament Station. A 15-minute bus trip from Melbourne CBD via 907 Smart Bus from Swanston and Lonsdale Streets. Number 30 and City Circle trams travelling east along La Trobe St from Russell and Swanston Streets.
