This light-filled studio space comes with a built-in kitchenette and walk-in storage space. A built-in partition divides the space into two generous and functional areas, allowing for versatile use. Situated on the ground floor of the Footscray Community Arts Warehouse building, this space is fully accessible and has access to shared amenities (first floor) including an accessible bathroom and lift. Options for entry off Bunbury Street, or through the main FCA reception area. At 80sqm, this space can be designed as you wish, with plenty of room for a range of uses. Secure and private, the Warehouse building comes with a security system and 24/7 access for the tenant.
Footscray Community Arts was established in 1974 by artists, unionists and other community activists with a clear agenda of access to arts and culture for all. This group of founders successfully advocated for state and federal funding to establish an arts centre responsive to the social and cultural needs of Footscray’s communities. Our beautiful precinct includes the heritage-listed bluestone Henderson House, the modern Warehouse building, and our spacious lawns overlooking the Maribynong River. Close to public transport and an easy walk from downtown Footscray, we are also just 10 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.
