M on W is a beautiful photographic studio and event space available for hire. Extensive renovations were completed in 2018 and have seen the building transform from a run down factory outlet into a modern, elegant and thoughtfully designed bright studio space that is a blank canvas.
The large, open space allows for a myriad of transformations with limitless creativity. Its versatility makes it the perfect space for exhibitions, fashion shows, workshops, product launches, cocktail parties and private celebrations. Conveniently located in inner city Collingwood, the primarily photographic studio features a large cyclorama and thoughtfully designed features throughout. Some of the key factors that M on W has to offer as an event space: 4 x car spaces on site, undercover loading area with wide access, 3 x toilets (including a fully disabled bathroom), kitchenette, heating, wall flats, plinths and various pieces of furniture available for hire, designer curtains to divide the space if needed, track lighting, picture hanging system. There are 4 x car spaces on site available to all bookings. Undercover loading area at the entrance that is 3 metres wide x 2.6 metres tall. There is all day ticketed street parking on Wellington St and surrounding streets all less than 500m from the studio (Gipps St, Stanley St, Cambridge St and Oxford St). There are also a number of public carparks that offer all day parking rates within a 5 min walk to the studio (Coles Supermarket - Little Oxford St, Ace Parking - Langridge St, Care Park - Wellington St).
