Space overview
Est. 2013, LUMI is located in the eastern suburbs with easy access via Eastlink. LUMI was setup to help expand creative possibilities for artists who may not have easy access to a large studio. The old factory provides a beautiful canvas for your next production.
LUMI was designed in a circa 1970's factory and we have endeavoured to keep a clean yet industrial chic vibe throughout with monochromatic elements throughout the space.
We are located in the heart of Box Hill's industrial precinct on Lexton Road. LUMI studio is a 10 min walk from Laburnum station and a 20 min drive from the CBD via the eastern freeway.

10 min walk from Laburnum train station. Bus stops nearby which go to Blackburn or Box Hill train station.
Parking
Free parking spots available on site subject to availability. Up to 10 spots available depending on other bookings. Please only park out the front of the studio or in our carpark where you see "LUMI" signage. After hours and on weekends we have access to a significantly higher number of parking spaces but please be conscious not to park in front of any other businesses unless discussed with LUMI staff.
