House of Plants blends the energy of Melbourne’s bustling bar scene with the tranquility of a garden. The venue features both indoor and outdoor spaces, with a capacity of up to 111 guests. Indoors can hold 80 people and the beer garden can hold 30 guests. Our space is dog-friendly and wheelchair accessible.
Looking for a space that can adapt to your needs? House of Plants is as flexible as it is beautiful. You can hire just a section of our beer garden, or go all-in and book the entire venue for private events.
For the epicureans, we have caterers to call who will deliver incredible food for your event. Our friends at Thin Slizzy can deliver pizza for a fuss-free option.
We're well-versed in the entertainment industry and can take care of the music with DJs and live music.

Catch the Mernda or Hurstbridge train line to Victoria Park Station, walk 5 minutes down Johnston and you'll arrive to our abode. Catch the 200 or 207 bus and you'll be delivered right to the door. We're located one minute away from the Nicholson St/ Johnston St stop.

Street parking is available off Johnston St with varied time restrictions. All day paid parking is available on St Heliers Street near Abbotsford Convent, a ten minute walk away.
