Space overview
The Garden studio is a light filled, multi-functional space in the heart of Albert Park.
Consisting of loose chairs, trestle tables, running water, heating, fans and large double doors opening out to 5 Hectares of parkland with a wide variety of Australian flora. The space is commonly used for rehearsals, performance, filming, workshops, parties, functions and fitness classes. Please fill out a venue hire enquiry form, and we will get back to you within 4 business days or sooner.
The Garden Studio is located on the Pickle Street side of the park. You can enter the park from Pickle Street near the Ceramics and Resident Artists Studio. From the main entrance on Graham Street, from the cafe and 'Tree Gate' walk towards you left to find the room. The room is located next door to the public bathrooms and the kid's playground in the plaza area.

1. What is the size of the room?
8 metres by 6 metres
2. How much does it cost?
$35 per hour plus a $100 room bond (refundable)
3. What is the flooring?
Laminate
4. What's included in the room?
5 trestle tables, 30 chairs, a sink with cold running water, heating, lighting, fans, vacuum cleaner, mop, broom and first aid kit
5. Can I decorate the spaces?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own decorations into the space, provided they are removed at the end of your hire. The space should be left in the same condition you found it in.
6. Is alcohol permitted in the space?
No, alcohol is not to be consumed in the Garden Studio. Other banned items are glass, glitter and balloons not weighed down.
7. Is there a bathroom?
No, the Garden Studio does not have a bathroom. There are public bathroom managed by the City of Port Phillip next door.
