Function Room | Midland Junction Arts Centre

Midland Junction Arts Centre (MJAC) is a historical venue situated in the heart of Midland, 18km north-east of the Perth CBD. Opened as a technical school in 1904 the building now operates as a vibrant visual and performing arts facility. A curated exhibition program across the three galleries is complemented by regular workshops for all ages, an artist in residence program and a range of cultural events. FUNCTION ROOM At MJAC we have a large open function room with windows sit on one side of the wall that let in beautiful natural light. The walls are lined with navy blue curtains that graze the hard wood floors. The small bar, which can be repositioned or removed entirely, leads into the kitchenette. The room is air conditioned and also has celling fans Trestle tables, smaller tables and chairs can be provided on request Size: 92 sqm Official maximum capacity: 101 people In addition to the function room Midland Junction Arts Centre offers a 140-seat theatre, ceramics and print studios, a meeting room, three classrooms as well as a range of work spaces for artists, and workshops. See our other listings for more information.  FACILITIES All rooms include access to the kitchenette. The kitchenette features an instant cold or boiling hot water tap, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. We also have cups, glasses and plates available for use.  A projector is also available to hire for $50 a day. ACCESS MJAC is open to the public Wednesday - Friday 10am - 5pm, Saturday 11am-3pm. Access is available outside of these hours, but requires the payment of a bond
