Space overview
an open affordable and rustic/vintage space close in the inner north
The historic Carlton Scout Hall is the closest Scout Hall to Melbourne’s CBD. A stone’s throw from a city tram stop, the hall is a great base for meetings, workshops, and city-camps for scouts. The Scout Hall also features a stage in the main hall, which makes an excellent base for presentations and lectures. Facilities The hall has trestle tables and chairs to seat around 60 people, with standing room for 100. The kitchen includes a fridge, microwave, oven, electric urn, freezer and toaster. A full gamut of cookware is available to use by Scouts. A BBQ is available. The hall has three all-gender bathrooms, including one disabled toilet with shower.
Our hall is on a quiet street opposite an open small park. It is near the Parkville Cemetery, Princes Park, Royal Park, transport the city, and food and shop areas.
