'Caelene nee Glen' art gallery & event space
Space overview
The gallery space managed by Caelene nee Glen has a vision to present beautiful contemporary art to the local community, focused on environmental appreciation and inspiration from natural organic realms.
With white walls, sealed concrete floors, a star-seeking skylight and custom timber fit-out; this space is a beautiful setting for exhibitions and events. A track hanging system has been installed along three white plasterboard walls and one brick wall, complemented by a professional track lighting is installed with adjustable positioning of LED spotlights, to ensure accentuation of artworks while being gentle on softer art materials. The ceilings are 3.6m high, and there is an additional varying height in the skylight feature. The full premises area is 70msq, with approximately 22msq floor space for: small events, recitals, presentations, professional development, and social groups; meeting in a peaceful space for enjoyment, surrounded by of art displays.
The ‘Caelene nee Glen’ (CnG) gallery space operates from Martin Street Brighton, just a moments’ walk from Gardenvale Station. The beautiful display windows face Martin Street, with a gorgeous sitting bench and deciduous tree outside. The location attracts a large audience with frequent commuter footfall traffic and passing vehicle traffic as entry to the gorgeous Brighton schools, homes and beaches.
