Back Alley Studio

Back Alley Studio is a creative space and workspace in the centre of Balmain. We are about more than just a location for you to come and work, we also a place for you to feel inspired and supported by fellow members of the studios. We have private studios for rent and a small workshop We also have hot desks and private desks available if that's what you are after ! We are very adaptable, wether you need square meters or just a desk, we will find a way to suit your needs. Members of this space will be able to enjoy our large, repurposed kitchen that has everything you could ever need, toilet and shower facilities, as well as large living area. It is here that the heart of the space is and where we hang together on fridays for food and drinks, while we solve the problems of the world. The studio is also really well located – just off the vibrant Darling st, and about 50m from the Woolworths in Balmain, with the city only a short, 10 minute bus ride away. Ferries to circular quay are also only a short walk and a fabulous way to start or end your day. We are also really excited to let you know that we are the proud new owners of a commercial size laser cutter, and members of the space will have access to this machine for a reduced fee, and since it was us who renovated this space, we have a large variety of tools available for you to use when you need.
