Space overview
ANCA Mitchell (Australian National Capital Artists Inc) is a professional artist-run-initiative. The complex includes 15 warehouse style 15 studios.
Studios range between 60 and 100 square metres and include: high ceilings, internal sink, roller door access, ceiling fan, gas heating, high windows and 3 phase power. Studios are secure, accessible 24hrs, and can be shared or licensed individually. ANCA also provides studios suitable for quieter practices at its Dickson Campus, see ANCA Dickson listing.
It is located in one of Canberra’s industrial areas, just a 10 minute drive north of the city centre and within walking distance of hardware and convenience stores. The complex has been designed to allow truck access to each of the studios and is therefore ideal for those artists working on a large scale and with heavy or noisy equipment.
