A dreamer; working with precious metal and precious and semi-precious gemstones to make memorable pieces to wear.
My work is currently heavily influenced by my love and fascination for ancient civilisations such as Sumer and Egypt. Specifically, their knowledge of the cosmos and human origin stories depicted by symbols and symbolism. Simply because, they are archetypal, hypnotic and seen throughout our everyday lives in various permeations.
Honouring this form of multilayered expression with my own interpretation,
my artistic process also celebrates the imperfect, and explores the addition of bold and contrasting, colour. And, includes abstraction, and, texture, while focusing on achieving overall balance.
