About
Max is a musician, song and fiction writer based in Melbourne, Australia. They are currently exploring the possibilities of concept albums and how a visual story can be told using not only songs but dialogue and Foley (similar to a radio play).
Born in Canberra, Max's first exposure to music was from Crowded House filled car trips. They had drum lessons in primary school and then caught the theatre bug turning them to singing. Feeling locked singing behind the drum kit, Max began learning power chords on guitar to Green Day songs and learnt piano by tinkering on the Yamaha at home.
Max released their first album in September 2020 entitled 'Somewhere Near', they are currently preparing to start gigging around Melbourne (pandemic depending) in 2021.
