Chris Bowes is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice incorporates elements of photography, video and installation, using these mediums to create ‘glitches’ through manipulating the hardware and software behind them. He has a keen interest in the history of digital technology and how photographs and videos help shape our understanding of the world.

Chris moved to Melbourne from his hometown of Brisbane in 2017 and since then has done everything he can to absorb himself within the Melbourne art scene. He regularly exhibits around Australia and works as a photographer, doing exhibition documentation for fellow artists and running a variety of photographic workshops.
