Yarn Strong Sista (YSS) is an Aboriginal Education Consultancy founded in 2001 by Annette Sax, Taungurung Creative Director, aiming to reshape education systems regarding Aboriginality and Culture. We offer ethically made Aboriginal eco-toys, Anti-Bias resources, and Multilingual books, promoting Fair Trade practices. YSS collaborates with First Peoples Businesses globally for economic empowerment and social justice. We also produce Yarn Strong Brutha Ceramics, Homewares, and Fashion accessories. Operating as a community hub, YSS hosts workshops and events weekly, embodying self-determination and sharing cultural knowledge.
City Art is located directly across from Queen Victoria Market on Elizabeth St, a high traffic area for tourists and locals alike.
